2. Stop Ghost Posting.
No, this is not a new term we made up for spooky season (aka. October), it is however, one of the biggest mistakes you can make when managing your social media. Ghost Posting is exactly how it sounds. Pushing out content without engaging with your audience is just going to be mirrored with your accounts posts. We all love when there's a mutual engagement and this has proven to create larger impressions and valuable leads across the board. On top of that, Instagram's algorithm catches those sneaky Ghost Posters and may actually hide your content from your followers feed... YIKES!
3. Invest in Ads.
As a small business, the idea of investing in something that can get you pretty good results organically is a little daunting and may seem unnecessary. This is a major misconception within the social game. Similar to Ghost Posting and Instagrams long list of algorithm rules, your account may start to decrease in organic engagement over time strictly because Instagram sees you as a business. Investing even the smallest amount into your posts can push you across that hidden line and ensure that your content is getting seen by the right people!
